Gavin has already made an impact in the salon world with award nominations in the prestigious Most Wanted Business Thinker and BHBA Business Director of the Year categories, a hugely popular guest speaker slot at Salon Smart and a column in Professional Hairdresser. He comes to the industry with a very different background; at 25 he was travelling the world in his role at CV setting up digital projects globally and managing annual budgets in excess of £1m, during which time he accrued a wealth of experience and knowledge in data and statistics, how to monitor productivity and what was needed to achieve a high ROI.

This has shaped the development of the Bad Apple Hair brand which has  now developed software in-house that gives Gavin a live 360-degree view of the business for a clear financial and data-driven picture. An experienced digital marketer, entrepreneur and investor, he utilises a mix of these
skills and disciplines to keep the Bad Apple Hair wheels turning. Alongside his role as Managing Director of Bad Apple Hair, managing the daily operations of the company and the growth of the salons, Gavin is also Managing Director of All Things SEO, which combines the best of SEO, Digital and Social Media – sharing stories, building brands and delivering results.
