WITH BAD APPLE HAIR, OUR CUTTING EDGE TRAINING WILL GIVE YOU A VALUABLE NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (NVQ).

You will start your hairdressing career on an Apprenticeship in Hairdressing to achieve NVQ at Level 2, which will normally take between 18 to 20 months to complete.

During your Apprenticeship, you will cover every aspect of hairdressing. This includes the following:

  • Cutting & Styling

  • Colouring

  • Blowdrying

  • Customer Care

  • Reception

  • Retailing

The Apprenticeship programme also includes Functional Skills which includes Maths and English, however certain GCSE grades carry exemptions from Functional Skills.

After completing the NVQ at Level 2, you may have the opportunity to move onto an Advanced Apprenticeship in Hairdressing. This gives you a higher level of hairdressing skills and the opportunity to obtain an NVQ Level 3 qualification.  This advanced qualification will give you the opportunity to learn more about creative hairdressing as well as the chance to become involved in hair shows and photoshoots.
