Mara Hoffman originates from New York. She started her own line in 200 after graduating from Parsons school of design in NYC and The much acclaimed Central St Martins in London, UK.
She is admired for her silk prints and hand dyed couture peices. her celebrity list includes fans like Kate Hudson, Nelly Furtado, Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton and Drew Barrymore.

Nick Irwin (international Creative Director - TIGI) headed up this show. After a brief meeting with Mara the week before fashion week he totally understood her ideas and concept. Nick chose to inter weave Mara's printed silk fabric through hair pieces and then pin them into a pre formed perfect ponytail. As you will see the results are fantastic and Mara was especially pleased.
The whole experience was amazing and the back stage vibe was incredible.
