Helmut Lang is a favourite of Bad Apple Hair Director Daniel Torres. He worked within fashion is 1997 and remembers always been excited about the new Helmut Lang deliveries arriving in store. One season a delivery of the jeans label arrived and a partcular design was gold paint effect jeans. They flew out instantly and would probably be a collectors item today.
Paul Hanlon, old friend and colleageue of Director Aid Tams was chosen to create the hair this season. Joining forces with TIGI made for a great success. Here is a little about Paul.
Born in Birmingham and trained at a local hair salon Paul knew he always wanted to work in the world of session hair. Paul moved to London in 2002 to work along side some of the worlds greatest session hair stylists. hard work and dedication meant that it wasn't long before Paul had joined an agency and was in demand himself.
He has styled hair for some of the industries biggest fashion designers: Dries Van Noten, Cavalli, Dior and Christopher Kane to name just a few.
His work as a young session stylist is far beyond his years and because of this the likes of American Vogue, Italian Vogue, W magazine and LOVE magazine are always requesting him.
We think Paul is amazing because he started in a salon in Birmingham but knew that he wanted more so went out and got it! A massive amount of respect goes out to Paul and his work from all the team at Bad Apple Hair.
