This shoot was inspired by Helmut Newton; a hugely successful fashion photographer in the 1950’s and 60’s. His signature black and white shots were regularly featured in Vogue and we wanted to recreate the timeless elegance that the shots exuded.
Hair is obviously the main focus – but the strong silhouettes, beautiful shapes, textured clothing, and smoky makeup combine to create a series of dramatic, striking, yet very beautiful shots.
